Jam Coding is an internationally acclaimed provider of computing education, with a strong presence in the UK and growing interest across Europe and Asia.
As the world increasingly relies on digital skills, we believe that computing education should be as fundamental as English or Maths.
Our mission is simple: to prepare the next generation of digital citizens, bridge the digital divide and provide equal access to digital opportunities for all.
Creating meaningful job opportunities in communities across the UK
Reached through our programmes of Coding and Computing
Breaking down barriers and providing children with an inclusive Digital Education
Teaching a wide range of Digital Skills. There's never a dull day at Jam Coding!
Jam Coding was established in 2014 in Blackburn, a small mill town in the North West of England. What started with delivering one-off workshops quickly revealed a broader issue. We noticed that the disparities in computing education were not limited to our region but were prevalent across the UK.
As interest in our services grew, so did our reach, extending beyond the UK to international schools. This global interest underscored a crucial insight: the demand for high-quality computing education is universal.
Our now internationally acclaimed computing curriculum is igniting a new passion for computing education among young people, while also providing teachers with the skills, resources and subject knowledge to deliver it effectively worldwide.
Combining education with entertainment, our curriculum addresses the global digital skills shortage by offering an engaging learning experience. Beyond benefiting young people, it serves as a CPD tool, empowering teachers to deliver the subject with confidence.
Since Jam Coding was established, our mission has been to provide quality computing education to as many children as possible, addressing the global digital divide.
The growing international interest we are receiving has solidified this mission. We are now expanding our reach beyond our small mill town to make a global impact, creating opportunities for young people around the world. Digital skills are essential life skills, and every child deserves the chance to unlock their innate passion for learning.
I would highly recommend the Jam Coding workshops. My daughter (age 7) has recently completed a course at Euxton Primrose Hill and she thoroughly enjoyed it - so much so that she was disappointed when I told her the last session was last Monday. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. 5 stars from me 😊

"I have to admit to being a little skeptical about how much uptake we would have for Jam-Coding as it's a paid club. I need not have worried. Great uptake and looking good for further clubs for the rest of the year. Thanks to Craig and the rest of our local team- excellent organisation and teaching!"

What can I say about Jam Coding. Theo (7) had always been a bit of a tech geek and loves computer games and robots. He’s recently attended the Saturday sessions at Geek Retreat. He’s not one for groups but he shot up and out of bed in the mornings, so he could be on time. He can’t wait to start the next sessions and he’s definitely found his thing. Coding for the win! Excellent and encouraging teaching from Jam Coding, thank you so much.

I wanted to email you to let you know how much my year 4s enjoyed the coding session you did with them. They learnt so much (so did I) and couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. The session was fun and easy for them all to access and all three of you were very good at answering all of their hundreds of questions and helping them.

My 9 year old son recently attended the holiday club in Camberley, Hampshire. He has SEN and often we struggle accessing and continuing with suitable holiday clubs (often clubs say they are fully inclusive/accessible when you ring to enquire, but in practice they don't always want to make suitable adjustments). The staff at Camberley seemed absolutely fantastic, very patient and my son can't want to attend again soon. They also seemed glad to tailor the content a little when he raced through the initial content. A thumbs up from us.

Alfie is absolutely thrilled to attend your classes and comes out of school with so much excitement and enthusiasm for coding. Thank you for all you’re doing. Tonight he wanted me to share these videos with you as he wanted to continue the coding learning throughout tea time and afterwards too.

We use Jam Coding in our school and I cannot recommend them highly enough! They provide outstanding teaching and a curriculum that is not only tailored to meet the needs of our school but also provides the highest quality computing provision; enabling our children to thrive in an ever-increasing technological world.

My son had a brilliant time at the Jam Coding summer camp. The sessions are filled with fun and creative workshops. At the end of the week he had his own computer game completed and ready to play with at home! I would highly recommend this club, 100% brilliant 👍

Since signing up to Jam Coding, the profile of computing has increased hugely with us now using the fantastic company for our own CPD needs as we realised that this was an area to develop with staff. The staff are friendly, extremely knowledgeable and always punctual.
