Jam Coding is an internationally acclaimed provider of computing education, with a strong presence in the UK and growing interest across Europe and Asia.
As the world increasingly relies on digital skills, we believe that computing education should be as fundamental as English or Maths.
Our mission is simple: to prepare the next generation of digital citizens, bridge the digital divide and provide equal access to digital opportunities for all.
Creating meaningful job opportunities in communities across the UK
Reached through our programmes of Coding and Computing
Breaking down barriers and providing children with an inclusive Digital Education
Teaching a wide range of Digital Skills. There's never a dull day at Jam Coding!
Jam Coding was established in 2014 in Blackburn, a small mill town in the North West of England. What started with delivering one-off workshops quickly revealed a broader issue. We noticed that the disparities in computing education were not limited to our region but were prevalent across the UK.
As interest in our services grew, so did our reach, extending beyond the UK to international schools. This global interest underscored a crucial insight: the demand for high-quality computing education is universal.
Our now internationally acclaimed computing curriculum is igniting a new passion for computing education among young people, while also providing teachers with the skills, resources and subject knowledge to deliver it effectively worldwide.
Combining education with entertainment, our curriculum addresses the global digital skills shortage by offering an engaging learning experience. Beyond benefiting young people, it serves as a CPD tool, empowering teachers to deliver the subject with confidence.
Since Jam Coding was established, our mission has been to provide quality computing education to as many children as possible, addressing the global digital divide.
The growing international interest we are receiving has solidified this mission. We are now expanding our reach beyond our small mill town to make a global impact, creating opportunities for young people around the world. Digital skills are essential life skills, and every child deserves the chance to unlock their innate passion for learning.
I would highly recommend the Jam Coding workshops. My daughter (age 7) has recently completed a course at Euxton Primrose Hill and she thoroughly enjoyed it - so much so that she was disappointed when I told her the last session was last Monday. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. 5 stars from me 😊
