Our award-winning Bespoke Curriculum gives teachers the tools and knowledge to deliver an outstanding curriculum to every single pupil, whilst developing their own skills and knowledge in the process.
It encompasses 8 areas of pedagogy to ensure breadth and depth of the National Curriculum in Computing:
Use Curriculum Creator to answer questions about the prior learning of your class.
The system will then explain which topics you need to teach next, before taking you straight to the training so you feel confident in teaching the module.
Complete a training package and gain a professional development certificate for each unit of work.
The training includes videos, assessment questions, resources and a certificate upon completion to ensure you are confident with the subject knowledge for every module. It also includes a teacher guide to explain the software and hardware required.
Every lesson includes a video lesson with a virtual subject specialist that can be played to the class then paused when it’s time for a discussion or question.
The video lessons include a demonstration of how to complete the main task within the lesson, ensuring that all pupils develop understanding rather than just skills.
The use of symbols help pupils with task transitions and our lesson checklists aid processing, task transition and focus.
All our resources are set on an uncluttered pale blue background and use Comic Sans font to assist the learning of pupils with autism, dyslexia and ADHD.
Every lesson has 3 worksheets for pupils to choose from depending on how confident they feel following the demonstration of the lesson.
This empowers children with a “can do” mindset and ensures all pupils can achieve the learning intention.
Teachers can automatically assess pupils by selecting which worksheet they completed in the lesson.
This creates “I can” statements for every child, for every lesson, allowing you to report back to the school and to parents.

As the class teacher I know from the way the children talk to me that their skills and knowledge are progressing. They can tell me exactly what they’ve been doing and they can explain how to do it. Throughout the school we have a large proportion of children with ASD and they have access to the full curriculum using Jam Coding. The Jam Coding curriculum has been incredible. We are now in our second year of running it across the school and the children are really excited about their computing lessons. It has really contributed towards the development of their skills and knowledge. I think the Jam Coding curriculum has really enhanced the children’s vocabulary, especially blended into different curriculums. It works well in the year 4 curriculum on science, in which we use data loggers. The children are now able to explain the process of how those data loggers work.
