We’re called Jam Coding, but we actually teach all things digital. That’s important because whilst a lot of young people love coding others prefer the creative side of digital skills. We cater for all young people.
“We’re called Code Coaches because we teach skills, these skills should be practiced and developed in the same way you would practice a sport, the exciting thing is that these skills will definitely lead to huge opportunities. There is a very significant chance your child will become a professional coder, designer, digital engineer or architect. So why not start learning these skills now?” – Jenny Talbot, Learning and Development Manager
Our programmes go beyond just writing code. We develop well-rounded digital skills that prepare children for the future.
Weekly coding clubs held at your child’s school. Fun, creative clubs where children build confidence and develop digital skills.
Dedicated technology sessions focused on deeper digital skills. Jam Coding Computing Labs offer hands-on, practical learning where children build real digital skills through coding, robotics, and creative projects — all in a supportive, specialist learning environment.
Why parents choose our Computing Labs
Fun, active holiday clubs combining coding, creativity, and play.
Our Holiday Clubs run during school holidays and half term, giving children the chance to build confidence, make friends, and try something new each day without feeling like they’re “in school”.
What your child will do
Does your child love all things digital? Why not treat them to something a little bit different this year?
Tell us what aspect of computing your child enjoys and we’ll bring along all the equipment needed for a funfilled day with friends.
From Minecraft, to Stop Motion Animation, to Gamebuilding, our workshops are guaranteed to make the day a hit whilst your child and their friends unknowingly learn new digital skills. You arrange the location, we’ll bring the entertainment!
I would highly recommend the Jam Coding workshops. My daughter (age 7) has recently completed a course at Euxton Primrose Hill and she thoroughly enjoyed it - so much so that she was disappointed when I told her the last session was last Monday. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. 5 stars from me 😊

Brilliant after-school club at St Joseph's Wrightington. My son can't wait for each term to go to the sessions. Brilliant class. Highly recommended - 5 stars!

Alfie is absolutely thrilled to attend your classes and comes out of school with so much excitement and enthusiasm for coding. Thank you for all you’re doing. Tonight he wanted me to share these videos with you as he wanted to continue the coding learning throughout tea time and afterwards too.

My child has been attending for a year now and loves going...He learns a lot too! The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you Jam Coding!

First and foremost, all our sessions are fun! We want to engage children in learning about coding and computing and that’s what our sessions are designed to do. They will work in teams to develop their collaboration, creativity and communication skills, as well as the confidence to become good digital citizens.
Unfortunately not. Although we would love to accept childcare vouchers, Jam Coding is classed as a tutoring company so it is not something we are able to offer at this time.
Of course. We take a register at the beginning of each session to ensure that every child is there, then we see them off at the end. At the time of booking, we always ask how the child will be getting home so that we know what and who to expect. During the sessions, the children work in teams and no child is ever left out.
We aim to be fully inclusive as an organisation. Indeed we often will welcome children attending their first ever out of school club because it is the first time they have seen something they are interested in. When you sign up to a course you will be asked for medical conditions and any extra support. We will do what we can to support your child. If they require extra support in their school lessons then we would request that we look at achieving this in the clubs too.
