ABOUT THE TOPICS

Minecraft Challenges

In this workshop, children think logically, explore their creativity and solve problems whilst developing their Computing and Coding skills. Suitable for Minecraft experts as well as total newbies to the game. Build, craft and code in a fun, safe environment!

Game Building and Game Design

Children will learn to code and build their very own computer game. From Flappy Birds to Candy Crush, kids have consistently shown their ability to develop great games, and this workshop will teach them to do this. It will take learners through all the steps that real Game Developers use to create games. They design characters, add backgrounds, and use code to create their games using game development software. Game coding teaches children to work in teams, think logically and solve problems.

Robot Rivals

Work in teams to code a robot, completing a range of challenges such as robot art, cops and robbers car chase, robot racing, automated / self-driving car challenge and robot maze solver! This workshop uses visual coding skills as well as introducing you to Python programming, which is used by people who actually code for a job when they’re older. A superb workshop to get your child to understand coding and the future possibilities this awesome skill has for them.
