Do you have the drive and ambition to thrive in a fun and rewarding career? Jam Coding are looking for a Business Development Co-ordinator to join our growing team to help us to reach more young people in Education in the Burnley and North Yorkshire areas.

Jam Coding teaches young people important digital skills, how to stay safe online, and be good digital citizens. We teach life skills and believe every child in the UK should have access to our workshops.

The Business Development Co-ordinator role will involve:

  • Liaising with existing Primary Schools to engage them in our services.
  • Outreach to new Primary Schools across the UK to introduce our products and services.
  • The management of databases in order to ensure the effective outreach and management of customers.
  • Liaising with our Marketing and Communication Manager.
  • Using LinkedIn and other digital platforms to reach our target market and communicate with them effectively.
  • Assisting in the recruitment and selection of staff to help grow our offering in the area.

Full training is given for the role however the ideal candidate should be:

  • Able to work off their own esteem. (E)
  • Be ambitious, driven, and motivated to achieve goals. (E)
  • Have experience in sales in particular the ability to conduct professional telephone sales calls both cold and warm. (E)
  • An excellent communicator by both verbal and written means. (E)
  • Be digitally literate and understand the importance of digital education for the young people of today. (P)
  • Have knowledge of the Primary School market and education system in general. (P)
  • Have an interest in, or experience of, working with young people to help them towards a brighter future.

The successful candidate for the Business Development Manager role can expect:
