A message from the Director

Jam Coding Worcestershire/Herefordshire is making a powerful impact in the local community by empowering young minds to thrive in the digital age. Through creative coding in after school workshops, innovative learning experiences, and our Bespoke Curriculum – delivered either by school teaching staff or Jam Coding’s subject specialists as a fully serviced solution – we ensure pupils receive high-quality digital education.

Exceptional Results
with the Bespoke Curriculum

The Bespoke Computing Curriculum is recognised globally for its excellence, having won multiple awards for innovation and impact. It’s designed to provide an unparalleled learning experience, whether delivered by school teaching staff or by Jam Coding’s subject specialists as a fully serviced solution.

Bespoke Curriculum

The Bespoke Curriculum gives teachers the tools and knowledge to deliver an outstanding curriculum to every single pupil, whilst developing their own skills and knowledge in the process. Alternatively, Jam Coding can also deliver the curriculum, providing a fully serviced solution. It enables teachers to:

Deliver lessons tailored to the prior skills and knowledge of their pupils.
Complete bite-sized CPD training for each unit of work and earn certification.
Cater to the diverse abilities of pupils through ‘hack sheets’ with various levels of difficulty.
Efficiently track pupil progress with an automated assessment spreadsheet for each unit of work.
Support neurodiverse learners with fully inclusive resources.
Integrate subject-specialist videos into every lesson to complement their teaching.

Afterschool Clubs

Our afterschool clubs offer a fun and engaging way to enhance your computing provision. Funded by either parents or schools, each club also includes a free pupil premium place. We provide a wide range of exciting topics for both KS1 and KS2 pupils, including:

Game Design and Development
Superhero Coding
Robotics
Coding within Minecraft
Stop Motion Animation
Podcasting

…and much more!

Our clubs empower young people to confidently explore the digital world in a fun, rewarding environment, helping them become the digital citizens of tomorrow.

eSafety and Digital Citizenship

We offer tailored eSafety and Digital Citizenship workshops at our schools, designed to address key areas of the computing curriculum, enhance eSafety awareness, or simply provide fun and engaging learning experiences.
Each workshop is customised to meet the specific needs and resources of the school. We also provide evidence of learner work to showcase the school’s efforts in promoting computing education and eSafety.

"I have to admit to being a little skeptical about how much uptake we would have for Jam-Coding as it's a paid club. I need not have worried. Great uptake and looking good for further clubs for the rest of the year. Thanks to Craig and the rest of our local team- excellent organisation and teaching!"

Kempsey Primary School

"Craig is a fantastic leader for the computer/coding/gaming based club! My son hates going to holiday clubs but he begged me to go to Jam Coding and to go back! Fun and friendly, it’s really nice to see a different kind of holiday club that caters to more interests than just sports. There are screen breaks and active activities too as part of the day. Top marks, we can’t wait for the next school holidays!"

"I just finished up my time working at Jam Coding Worcestershire/Herefordshire this summer, and what a fantastic 3 months it has been. I would like to give my personal thanks to Craig Hardman, who has been a wonderful mentor and friend to me, and has proven time and time again, to both myself, and to our students, that anyone can code, and have fun while doing it."
